A group flight of thermal balloons was made on the territory of Uzbekistan for the first time in history.
Today one more grandiose event took place: 5 air balloons with sportsmen on the board went up to the evening sky of Bukhara one after another.
As reported by the Press Service of the State Committee for Tourism Development, not only representatives of the World Air Sports Federation, but also Uzbekistan athletes from the Federation of Aeronautics of Uzbekistan participated in the flight.
It should be noted that Peter Blaser, who has aeronautical experience in many countries on different continents, has received an indelible impression of a perfect flight. The delegation from Switzerland, which included 20 people, expressed pleasant surprise and delight from acquaintance with the culture and architecture of Uzbekistan, and especially – with national cuisine.
The first flight took place on April 21 in Samarkand. On the 25th, the balloons are planned to fly to the sky over Khiva, and on April 27 the delegation will depart for Surkhandarya to fly over Baysun.
