On June 29 (Samarkand region) and June 30 (Khorezm, Navoi, Ferghana regions) held seminars “The role of civil society institutions in the implementation of the Law “On environmental control”.
The purpose was to increase the participation of community and NGOs in the implementation of the Law “On environmental control”, as well as discussion on the role of NGOs in public activities aimed at protecting the environment and public health.
The seminar was attended by B.В. Alikhanov- Deputy Speaker of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis, Chairman of the Deputy Group of the Ecological Movement of Uzbekistan Chairman of the Committee on Ecology and Environment Protection, K. Djumaniyazov-by member of the Parliamentary Group of the Ecological Movement of Uzbekistan in the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis and representatives of the regional committee for nature protection, “Mahalla” region Charity Fund, the experts of the regional public education authority, environmental and health care NGOs.
